For whatever it's worth, I've made the first cut in the first scriptwriting competition I entered Mindgames into. I mean, there are about 100 scripts at this round, so this is not a huge deal. But it's 100 out of 1300, so, y'know, it doesn't suck.

Anyway. Nice.

Ironically, I'm not at all invested in Mindgames right now, so I'm pretty "that's nice" about it. What the professional critiquer said of it makes me feel that it's not as commercially viable as it could be, and perhaps as it would have to be, to sell. I'm already thinking idly of what I could alter to make it more gripping (and less talky), so I don't expect it to make it all the way in any competition.

But, "better than 1200 other scripts" isn't a bad recommendation.

Well, you can be vicariously squeeing right now over the fact that I've immediately gotten interest from the flyer I posted at Berklee, looking for an arranger for "Never After." I'm so excited I can hardly type!
