Occupy Boston redux

So, I did a dropoff for Occupy Boston, which wasn't as satisfying as it might have been, as I merely got to live-park and not really get a feel for the place. Meanwhile, emails to three addresses as to volunteering my skills went unanswered. So last Friday, the daughter and I took a chilly "home field trip" down to the encampment. We checked out the Faith & Spirituality tent and Food tent, chatted with people, wandered, acquired necessary information to get on the teaching circuit there (me), and had some eye-opening lessons about the haves and the have-nots (the daughter). The camp felt kind of shuttered then, and that was before Friday's storm. Still, dude-from-since-Day-Three assured me that winter was not going to close them down.
I'm finally on the program to teach Thai massage there, midafternoon on this Thursday. I asked at the Food tent what they could most use, and before I'd even finished my question, they were saying, "Hot food. Anything prepared." I gathered that they will take all the blankets they can get. If you care to contribute, I will carry all I can manage on the T. I.e., I have a big freakin' suitcase, but things like cardboard and plywood (both needed) will have to go some other way.
